Allison will reveal new OEM contracts and present its latest automatic transmission products at their SMOPYC debut on 22nd to 26th April.
SLIEDRECHT – Leading commercial duty automatic transmission manufacturer Allison Transmission will mark its SMOPYC debut, the main trade fair in the Spanish construction and public works, with the announcement of two major OEM releases. In addition, visitors to stand G-H/1-6 will have the opportunity to see their latest 4000 Series gearbox and talk to application engineers about their requirements in this specialist sector.

Motor sport proven technology from BERU f1systems gives operators real time data on tyre conditions for better safety, economy and environmental performance
Tyres are the second or third largest expense for most truck fleet operators. Proper management of tyre pressures has been demonstrated to play a significant part in reducing this cost. Tests by tyre manufacturers have shown that under-inflation by 15% reduces fuel economy by 2.5%. Incorrectly inflated tyres also wear faster and are more prone to premature failure. Now automotive engineering specialist BERU f1systems is helping truck fleets to improve safety on the road and economy across the fleet with its new Truck Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

Diversified technology company 3M has developed what it believes to be the world’s first two part structural epoxy adhesive to meet aerospace fire smoke and toxicity (FST) standards (when tested standalone) without the need for additional treatments or surface coatings. The adhesive meets the requirements laid down by FAR 25.853 (a) flaming mode, JAR 25.853 (a) flaming mode and ABD 0031 & AITM 2.0002A as defined by the US flight authorities, European flight authorities and Airbus respectively.
