TyreSafe helps bikers get round the bend   Print
Bike Tyre Safety Month runs throughout April Tuesday, 31st March 2009

300 free 90 degree tyre valve extensions are available from the TyreSafe website

As April’s Bike Tyre Safety Month gets underway, TyreSafe is helping bikers to stay safe and check their tyre pressures with greater ease by offering 90 degree tyre valve extensions to the first 300 people to sign up to its e-newsletter at www.tyresafe.org. The valve extension can be simply screwed onto the tyre’s existing valve, making checking and inflating tyre pressures a simpler operation as the valve’s 90 degree bend allows bikers to attach air lines and pressure gauges with greater ease. When inflation is complete, the extension can be removed and stored under the seat so it is always to hand.

XPart is offering bodyshop managers the chance to win repair work by cutting the cost of crash repair products for Rover 200/400/600/800 models by up to 40 percent. The new reduction in pricing is the latest offering from the company’s Close Call programme, which aims to keep more MG Rover cars on the road by ensuring that the cost of repairing a car involved in a major collision is less than the residual value of the vehicle.  The discounts cover all major crash repair items, including panels, lighting, bumpers, mirrors, glass and air bags. With insurers’ budgets for MG Rover repair increasingly squeezed, the latest discounts allow bodyshops to provide even more compelling estimates to insurance assessors, helping them to win new business while preventing more cars from being written off the road.
